I entered Zion on October 25th from the east basically at the only part of the park where you are above some of the formations. The southern drive through the park drops down so you are looking up at the rocks not down like all the parks I had been at so far. These massive sandstone sculptures are really amazing. I have only been to Arches National Park in Utah and was really impressed at that park. I love Utah's parks!

The long tunnel that leads to the westside of the park is a little intimidating (and claustrophobic) to drive through but both sides of the park are really worth visiting.
